Commuting to Work Together Could Be Good For Your Marriage

The commute to work is something all of us have to do, well apart from those that work from home obviously. Commuting to work can be a time when you listen to the radio, read a book, play game or make work phone calls depending on your method of travel. A recent study has suggested that married couples should look at commuting to work together to help have a good marriage.

Apparently, the report found that married couples are happier if they travel to work in the same direction feel like they are travelling together in the same direction in life. The study was conducted by surveying a number of couples how had been married for an average of 13 years. Moving in the same direction is meant to create a more interpersonal attraction so you can see how this translates to a married couple.

Whether the findings of these reports are true or not is all down to personal views. If a couple both work in the same direction then obviously that’s a great way to spend some more time together and save money. It could lead to arguments though if the driver is running late and the other person has to wait. Waiting an extra 15 minutes to get a lift home could prove quite frustrating.
