Todays Olympics Schedule

You might want to set your telephone to voicemail today as there are a number of Team GB competing at times during the working day.

There are two sports starting at 12:30 which means you may be on your lunch break and if so you can watch Royal Zara Phillips taking part in the equestrian cross country or tune in to watch Zoe Smith compete in the weightlifting. She is a commonwealth bronze medallist so hopes are high she may be able to add to the medal table for Team GB.

As we move into the afternoon, one of Team GB’s pool stars, Tom Daley, takes part in the synchronised diving 10m final with partner Peter Waterfield. Tom Daley has become one of the main faces of Team GB so I’m sure the support at the Aquatics centre will be amazing. See him diving in singles competition later on in the week. As we move into late afternoon, the men’s gymnastics will be starting at 16:30 with the British team with high hopes of being on the podium after winning the European title in May.

The other big GB competitors to watch move into the evening so you can be sat at home watching the men’s hockey team face Argentina at 19:00 or check out the Swimming at 19:40 with medal hopes from Gemma Spofforth in the 100m breaststroke.

Stay tuned for more daily Olympic schedules throughout London 2012.
