Manchester Win the Premier League...

If ever there was a prime example of someone in need of more time then yesterday’s Premiere League title race was it. The title was definitely going to Manchester, with either City or United taking home the trophy. Here’s a look at what transpired in the final minutes of the season and how the title went from the red side of the city to the blue side of Manchester in the space of 4 minutes.

Manchester United Vs Sunderland      Manchester City Vs QPR

At the end of the 90 minutes Manchester were leading Sunderland 1-0 and in an unexpected result City were trailing QPR 2-1. With United’s game finished, the results as they were meant that Manchester United were champions and some of the players were close to celebrating on the pitch. Alex Ferguson looked tense though and news began to filter through as there was news from the Manchester City game...

Being 2-1 down meant that City were looking like they had lost the title but the players weren’t finished yet. With 5 minutes of extra time due to a fracas earlier involving QPR player Joey Barton, Manchester City scored not once but twice to give themselves a 3-2 victory which meant in the space of 4 minutes the title moved across to the blue side and Manchester City were crowned Premiere League champions.

What a great end to a season and a great example of how sometimes when you need more time, things can go your way.
